DIRECTIONS EVERYWHERE

Bronxville

-From the city, Deegan (87) North to the Cross County
Parkway East - at the Cross County entrance, fork right
onto the local lanes (toward Bx Parkway),not the express
lanes - from the Cross County exit right for the
Bronx River Parkway, and then fork left onto the Bronx
River Parkway Northbound - once on the Bronx River Parkway, fork
right to stay on (Sprain Parkway splits off to your left) -
immediately after fork take Paxton Ave. exit (it's a sharp
turn) - left at stop sign onto Paxton Ave., right at light
(careful - no right on red in Bronxville) onto Palmer Ave.
- go straight through traffic circle and under railroad bridge onto
Pondfield Road - immediately after underpass bear right onto Kraft Ave.
- follow straight for several blocks to T intersection at Midland Ave. -
right turn onto Midland and try to find street parking, as the new scout
field has a dirt entrance (but no parking) on your immediate left
- if no street parking - continue on Midland and make left just
before bridge into entrance to the old scout field, which has a
parking lot - as the foot bridge between fields over the Bronx River is
out of commission, walk backalong Midland to get to the new field

Mamaroneck - Harbor Island Park

From the North via 95:
Take exit 18 - Mamaroneck Ave towards Mamaroneck (not White Plains).
Turn right at the bottom of the exit onto Mamaroneck Ave. Follow Mamaroneck
Ave about 2 miles to Boston Post Rd. Harbor Island Park will be straight
ahead but it costs $5 to park there. Turn right onto Boston Post Rd and park
when you see the field on your left.

From the South via 95:
Take exit 18a Fenimore Rd. Turn right at the end of the exit onto Fenimore
Rd. Follow Fenimore Rd under train tracks and up hill. Start looking for a
parking spot as soon as you see the water. The park is next to the water, at
the end of Fenimore Rd (across Boston Post Rd).
